I placed an order online. When I went to pick it up at McAlisters, I found out that the order did not go through.
But the charge to my credit card went through without any problem. Had to go to McDonalds at the last minute for supper.Think twice befor

On a takeout order I arrived home to discover the expensive Veggie Sandwich was served on a hard as a rock stale bun.

Verified Reviewer |Didn’t receive proper gift card.
When you offer a $5 extra card for a $25 gift card purchase and you are not willing to give four $5 cards for a $100 card purchase, you are taking advantage of your customers. This is the only restaurant that does this.
If you want people to buy your gift cards and are only willing to provide a $5 bonus card regardless of how much is purchased, state it on your signs! Really disappointed in this situation.
- Good food
- Never have enough staff on duty
Preferred solution: I’d like to get the 3 other $5 bonus cards I should have gotten to begin with AND I’d like the signage for the sale of the gift cards to spell out to get a bonus card, you have to buy in increments of $25.
User's recommendation: Do NOT buy gift cards from this restaurant without making them ring them up in separate purchases.

So, I went to the Shiloh, IL location and Marcia rang up my order. First, she kind of rushed me.
Then, I ordered a Coke with a shot of peach; she put in three shots, then put on the lid, turned it upside down and shook it up. Obviously, the lid expanded so I couldn't put a straw in until I relieved a little pressure. Fairview stirs it up (mentioned this and she shrugged me off). I only took one sip; it was so sweet I could not taste the Coke.
When I asked the other girl for a Coke, she went to get it and told her why she was getting a plain Coke. Marcia sarcastically said, 'Well, duh, peach is sweet. What did she expect?' Horrible experience.
I will not go to this location again. I don't appreciate the lack of good service or the utter disrespect.

We ordered a southwest salad with chicken and avocado. When they bought the salad the service said they were out of avocado and chicken so we got a bowl of lettuce.
Then they said they were out of forks and knives. So they gave us one plastic fork to share. McAlister's used to be a great place to eat no longer.
No apologies no nothing. very dissatisfied with your store
- Can eat outside and inside
- Easy seating
- Convenience location
- Never got the order correct
- No forks no chicken no avocado nothing
Preferred solution: Full refund
User's recommendation: Don't eat there
Clark refused to cut sandwich enforced, even though the customer requested it
The King club online is shown to be cut into fourths. I had an autistic person with me that wanted the sandwich cut into fourths.
The sandwich shows to be that way online when ordering.
I asked the Employee to cut the sandwich again and they refused stating that is how it comes. They cannot cut it again.
User's recommendation: If you need a sandwich, cut a certain way bring your own knife

I ordered a nacho basket and a grilled chicken club meal. They forgot my cheese for my nacho basket.
I'm 5 months pregnant and truly pissed off about this as I was craving this for days and was finally well enough to drive over there. They would not answer the phone and I refuse to drive 20 minutes across town again.
What can be done about this? I'm very, very, extremely pissed off.
- Too dumb to fulfill orders

I feel the corp people need to know how their company treats its customers
My daughter stopped at McAlisters in Richmond, IN last night to pick up supper for us. We rarely ever go there but thought it would be something different.
IT WAS! We ordered sandwiches and soups...$70.00 worth! The BLT's were shocking! When we opened the wrappers, the bacon was so burned (black on the edges and so completely dried out) that it fell apart like bacon bits!
And most of it was crumbled inside the wrapper. The soup was about 2 tablespoons ...not hardly a serving. My sandwich was the french dip...the beef was totally dry with burned edges sticking out of the bun and when I tried to bite into it, it was a huge piece of grizzle with a very few flakes of softer beef! I pulled the grizzle from my mouth before choking and left the few softer burned bits in the sandwich.
The aujus dip was terribly salty! And I too had about 2 tablespoons of soup! That was our supper!! We are so disgusted and disappointed!
And besides that, my daughter had waited 52 minutes to receive that meal! The young employees joked and laughed with each other instead of waiting on customers and fixing orders. There are hardly any cars parked outside this McAlisters and now I know why. Terrible service, terrible food.
I hope you have some way of reimbursing customers like me who definitely need a refund!! Thanks
User's recommendation: Don't go there.

Verified ReviewerLast nights visit
I order from McAlister's all the time, and last night we decided to order dinner. We picked it up immediately after ordering. It's situated right up the street, taking us only two minutes to get there. When my husband got there and checked the bag, we noticed certain items, like pickles, weren't included. So we requested these items. Upon opening the meals, the bread was under-cooked and not toasted as usual. There was sauce on the sandwiches that was not supposed to be there. I had specifically asked for no lettuce and tomato on my son's sandwich.
The sandwiches appeared to be hastily put together, visibly cold and untoasted. None were sliced. We also noticed that my daughter's kids meal lacked the cookie, a recurring issue we usually let slide.
So, I contacted the manager and told him I was returning the entire palette of food and requested a remake. Considering it's a $40 meal, it should have been made appropriately. When I reached the shop to return the bag, I announced that I was there to return and pick up the correctly cooked food. The staff member checking my food made an uncalled-for comment and rolled her eyes before walking away to laugh with other staff members.
I explained to her that my frustration stemmed from the fact that I paid $40, picked up the meal, drove it home, only to find out it was incorrect and cold. I then had to drive back to the shop to get the food I had ordered, cooked correctly.
After about 15 minutes of waiting by the window, the manager handed me my food in a tiny bag. As I set it in my seat, everything fell out of the bag. The manager and I discussed the staff member's attitude. Of course, I was irritated from having to return to the store for my order that should've been correct in the first place, but I hadn't been rude in any manner.
Throughout this saga, I've frequented this location many times with no incidents. The manager, who was cooking the food, was the one who knowingly allowed the incorrect food to pass through.
Although it might not matter to them, I have worked in food service since I was 14 and have always embraced a 'guest-first' attitude. There was no justification for any attitude from the staff. They knowingly served incorrectly cooked food.
Upon inspecting our first order, we noticed the recurring issue -- the missing cookie for my daughter's meal. When we received our replacement order and got it home, we found a hair in my potato salad and mayonnaise on my club sandwich, which I had specified I didn't want in the original order. My son's sandwich was barely cooked. I have photographic evidence of lettuce and tomato that we had asked to be excluded in the original order.
This entire experience was horrendous, from the manager to the staff. All the three girls in there were staring at me and laughing while I was waiting by the window for my replacement order, which took an additional 20 minutes on top of the six minutes it takes me to drive there, after asking for a full replacement.
In contrast, I've never had an issue with the other women who work there or the young man who usually attends the window. In fact, I usually tip them when I pick up my orders.
This particular staff member, a young girl with black glasses and long blond hair, should serve as an example of some ongoing problems there. I hope you can take action based on my experience. I frequent your restaurant regularly, and this is the first time I'm lodging a complaint. Throughout the entire ordeal, the manager never once apologized, not even when I called.

I received no word from them.
Today I went to the McAlister's in Milledgeville, Ga. I ordered the pick two.
I got the French Dip and the Chicken Pot Pie soup. I have noticed over the last year that there has been less and less beef on the French Dip. However, today I got exactly two very sad slices of beef on my sandwich and they were pretty dry. It wasn't even enough to taste with the bread.
I do not appreciate paying what I did for that meal and being given next to nothing in return. Honestly, this may just have been my last visit to this restaurant.
- Generally the food is good
- Skimp on the ingredients for the sandwiches

Verified ReviewerVery bad experience
Today was payday, so I decided to treat us to a meal at McAlister's in Logansport, IN. I do realize that this deli has only been open for about two weeks and everyone is still learning, but this was ridiculous.
We got two sandwiches that were halves and were supposed to be whole. We didn't get the Caesar salad, two brookies and three pickle spears. My fiancé, Jose, picked this order up and when he asked the worker to check and make sure everything was there, she told him he could do it. Jose took everything back to the store on the other side of town because the food was expensive and we wanted to get what we ordered.
He said he was treated as if nothing was wrong and when he checked the order, he asked about the pickle spears and was told they were in the bag. They weren't. When he got home, the food that was hot was cold.
Our bill was $52.93, which was expensive for a meal for three and due to the attitudes of the workers, I doubt that we'll ever go back. Common courtesy should be used no matter if you are new or not.

How is your loss $26 for a coke? And didn’t the second employee replace it?
First off the whole order was that much. Second I never asked for money back.
Third this location i always have issues. It's about more than a soda.
Then you lied under “Loss- $26”.
